4x4 short wheel base S printer clad in bed liner, with mudtires, a roof rack, a ladder leading up to the roof, roof awning, a propane grill mounted to the back door, bike racks, brush guards, and an exterior water spout. I would love to take this rig on an adventure

You missed the most important (unusual) details: MTB with full touring racks and dirt-drop bars.

very cross country. I’m planning on a bikepacking trip in october, but we’re just taking roadbikes, and hiking them up a few mile to the camp, since the 70 miles there will be all road.

I converted my kids’ trailer to a flatbed for that someday bike-camping trip. I found that the trailer encourages people to give me more room on the narrow Louisiana roads, so I like to take it along when I go on long rides.
This was on my birthday, so I brought along a cooler full of drinks to share with friends.

that’s awesome. I’ll just have a few saddle bags, with cloths and a hammock, plus a pot and pan for cooking food, and boiling water . We’re aiming to make our packing as minimalist as possible.
